What is remarketing?
Remarketing allows you to show adverts to users who have previously visited your website as they browse other websites.
How does it work?
Remarketing is simple. You tag pages of your website that fit into specific categories that you want to advertise. For instance you would tag pages with – “Far East holidays” or “European holidays” if you were a travel company.
You can then build a Google Adwords campaign to advertise these categories with highly targeted messages such as “25% off our European holidays”. Then using the Google Display Network you can advertise to people who have previously visited these parts of your website.
Why use it?
In short – conversions. You are communicating with a targeted message to people who have visited key pages on your website.
