We are looking for an experienced media manager – programmatic, to work in the media team at RocketMill.

To thrive in this role we expect a passionate candidate to be at the cutting edge of platform developments and publisher understanding; continuously looking for ways to innovate and drive a competitive advantage for their clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking the day to day lead on key client accounts across Programmatic platforms
  • Creation and implementation of high quality campaigns, spanning awareness through to conversion, designed to achieve and outperform client KPIs.
  • Be the strategic lead, understanding the ambition of the client and how to shape our campaigns in order to achieve this.
  • Help to deliver training to media executives to upskill the team.
  • Understand how Programmatic fits in and compliments the wider marketing mix. Work with the broader team to identify opportunities for Programmatic activity.
  • Develop strong relationships with both platforms and key partners to deliver value to the agency.
  • Lead and delegate to the media executives in your team to push performance forward, enabling learning and development opportunities for the team.
  • Clearly communicate results to our clients alongside the wider team, identifying trends, opportunities and a clear rationale for performance.
  • Support new business opportunities with account audits and clear recommendations.

Essential Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Programmatic platforms: DSPs, Ad Servers, Brand Safety Verification platforms.
  • A strong understanding of Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
  • Experience managing Programmatic campaigns spending upwards of £50,000 per month.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Experience developing full-funnel strategies based on campaign briefs.
  • Experience presenting and explaining campaign performance to a range of client stakeholders.
  • Confident developing testing roadmaps based on client objectives and cutting-edge Programmatic solutions.
  • Ability to think outside the box and challenge established ways of working. Strive to innovate for your clients and produce award-winning work.
  • Commercially astute, supporting the teams around you to identify growth opportunities for both the client and RocketMill.
  • Highly analytical and data driven. Ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends and articulate key points from the data.
  • An understanding of machine learning within the platforms.
  • A strong comprehension of attribution models and the role they play in the wider marketing mix.
  • Understanding of how Programmatic works effectively in a multichannel, integrated plan.
  • Experience forecasting paid Social performance.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Programmatic activation and strategy.
  • Experience running paid Programmatic accounts across different verticals and markets.
  • Experience working with Publishers and Partners to deliver sophisticated branding activity.
