Here's what we need

We are looking for a Creative Strategist to join the strategy team at RocketMill. RocketMill is a full service marketing agency bringing together media, creative, UX, and content to deliver integrated campaigns for clients. In the past year RocketMill have developed full funnel campaigns across a number of categories from cars, car leasing, finance, insurance, child care, fibre broadband and sports nutrition.

To thrive in this role, you will be experienced in developing creative strategy for brands. You will be a strategic thinker and work well with creative teams to develop effective advertising campaigns across media that drive measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drawing out key insights from research and developing a clear strategy from which advertising and communications will be developed.
  • Developing creative strategies and campaigns that drive effectiveness and run across media channels including digital, TV, OOH, audio etc.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and bring creative concepts to life. 
  • Collaborate with the media team to create integrated media and creative plans.
  • Ensuring tracking is in place to measure effectiveness.
  • Communications planning across a customer journey – which messages at which stage of the journey in which channels and formats.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and competitive landscape.
  • Translate client briefs into creative concepts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimise and refine creative strategies, ensuring continuous improvement and measurable impact.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in a creative strategist or similar role within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
  • Proven experience in ideating and developing innovative and impactful creative concepts for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop creative solutions that align with client objectives and marketing goals.
  • Ability to present ideas and strategies confidently to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in data analysis, with the ability to interpret metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, channels, and best practices.
