RocketMill, the Sussex based award-winning digital marketing agency, has announced the launch of a new Strategic Services team.
The new team will be headed up by Gary Elliott, formerly Head of Insight and Optimisation at OgilvyOne dnx, and also includes Joanne South, formerly a Senior Account Manager at iCrossing. The Strategic Services team will act as extensions of client marketing teams, partnering them in their challenges and planning across digital media.
Sam Garrity, Managing Director at RocketMill, feels the new team reflects the changing needs of today’s clients:
“Over the next few years, clients will need brave agencies who are prepared to help them perform more of the day-to-day activities in-house. We believe agency value will eventually derive more from thinking and pioneering in data, new media and technology. In short, we believe clients will need a new category, somewhere between an agency and a consultancy. The launch of our Strategic Services team mirrors this thinking and we’re delighted to signal our intent with two key hires in Gary and Joanne.”
Gary Elliott, who spearheads the new team, explained his decision to join RocketMill:
“Digital is asking bigger and bigger questions of us marketing folk. How do we build better, seamless, more engaging customer relationships with all the data, technology and media we have available? What I love about RocketMill is they truly understand just how exciting this digital transformation is going to be and they have a compelling vision for the future of agencies. I’m very much looking forward to seeing our new Strategic Services team help bright and ambitious brands tackle these digital marketing challenges head-on.”
