We all know Google runs a lot of tests but the latest one I experienced is quite surprising. It looks like Google is testing map listings on the 2nd page, a query for “solicitors in brighton” returns a first page dominated by map listings and then surprisingly two additional map listings on the second page.

I have experienced this on Chrome with auto detected location set to Crawley. A similar query on Internet Explorer & Firefox does not return map listings on the second page although the first page map listings are exactly the same as on Chrome.

A query for “solicitor in brighton” (note: singular) does not return the same result on the second page and this remains the same across all browsers.
