How we achieved a 500% blended ROAS (return on advertising spend) for ALDO across Search and Social.

The Brief

ALDO UK tasked us with significantly improving their digital performance across Search and Social, with an ambitious target to hit 500% ROAS across a four month period.

How we did it

We started with auditing the current campaigns and accounts – actioning any immediate quick wins where appropriate. 

We then built out a robust four month testing plan across Search, making use of our media, creative and UX services, focussing on: 

  • Account build
  • Bid strategy testing 
  • Ad copy testing 
  • Landing page testing 

In parallel we put together a testing plan for Social exploring the following:

  • Account build
  • Multi-cell impact study 
  • Audience testing 
  • Ad copy & creative testing 

After the testing plans had concluded, we worked closely with the ALDO UK team to identify ongoing strategies for Search and Social that would continue to drive incremental performance gains. 

With the help and guidance of RocketMill we seamlessly migrated all our ad accounts from the previous agency setup and instantly saw improvements in sales and ROI.

The Results

We wrapped up the four month campaign, exceeding our intended ROAS target and presented their future strategy in a format that allowed the ALDO UK team to seamlessly take the Search and Social Management in house and continue to build upon the fantastic results we had delivered.

During our four month testing program we achieved:

  • 520% ROAS  
  • +312% revenue
