Digital Analyst

Salary: £25,000–£45,000, negotiable depending on experience

Deputy Head of Data & Insight, Neil Barnes

Key responsibilities:

Working in our award-winning Data & Insight team you will collaborate with internal and external teams to optimise marketing performance with data. At RocketMill, you will apply critical thinking, creativity, and technical ability to solve unique challenges and achieve exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will be naturally inquisitive, highly motivated to learn, and genuinely excited to be working in the rapidly evolving field of data analysis.

By the end of your first six months at RocketMill you will have your own portfolio of clients for which you will be the main point of contact for data-related queries. For these clients, you will be given the opportunity to design, present, and implement your vision for how data and analysis should be leveraged to meet the client’s objectives.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be highly driven to be exceptional, innovate, and learn
  • Have at least one year of experience working in an analytical role
  • Be able to learn technical concepts, and apply them creatively to meet your needs
  • Be comfortable explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel for data analysis
  • Be experienced with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Be knowledgeable of common marketing tactics (SEO/PPC/CRO, etc.)
  • Be excited about the opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing fields in marketing!


  • Advanced knowledge of implementing Google Analytics with Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with visualisation software such as Power BI, Tableau, or Data Studio
  • Experience with a programming language such as JavaScript, R, or Python
  • Some familiarity with mathematical statistics
  • One or more years of experience working in an SEO, CRO, or Paid Media role
