Salary: £20,000 – £30,000, negotiable depending on experience
To support continued growth in our client portfolio, RocketMill is looking for a talented strategist to join our content team and drive audience growth for a number of key clients. We operate a small, agile team, and you will be given a high level of autonomy to design and execute forward-thinking content strategies, and make your mark on the content marketing landscape.
The successful candidate will have relevant experience working in an agency setting, client-side, in-house at a publisher, or experience building an audience in a personal capacity. Knowing how to build and maintain an audience will be second nature, and the successful candidate will also have a solid understanding of how search engines work, as well as creative flair.
This is a client-facing role, so the successful candidate must be comfortable and confident dealing with stakeholders of all levels, from marketing executives to CEOs. You must be able to distil complex marketing concepts into simple ideas, and be comfortable making the case for content marketing within organisations which may not understand its potential.
We create bespoke, high quality content strategies for our clients, so it is imperative all applicants understand how to analyse the performance of digital content. An inquisitive mind, and a desire to learn about digital measurement and analytics is essential.

Head of Content
You are a digital native and want to take the next step in your content marketing career. You understand digital content, and want to have a hand in creating experiences that delight audiences and win awards.
You passionately advocate for what you believe to be the correct approach, and base that opinion on data. You enjoy being presented with a challenge, not just a list of deliverables.
You are a voracious consumer of media in all its forms; you’re who friends turn to for podcast, book and Netflix recommendations.
We’re happy to consider graduates or those with less relevant experience for this role. We value attitude, demeanour and gut feel over the length of your CV – if the job excites you, but you can’t tick every box in the Skills & Profile section, there are plenty of other ways to get our attention.
